Welcome to Digital Farmer. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Digital Farmer app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid Indian mobile phone number to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
• One phone number can only be associated with one account.
• You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

3. Use of the App

You may use Digital Farmer for the following purposes:

• Managing your farms, fields, crops, expenses, and harvests.
• Watching agricultural advisory videos.
• Checking weather forecasts and mandi prices.
• Posting questions and sharing experiences in the community.
• Buying and selling agricultural products in the marketplace.
• Communicating with other farmers through the messaging system.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content.
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users.
• Create multiple accounts or impersonate others.
• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or abuse the app or its services.
• Scrape data or use automated tools to access the app.
• Post spam or unsolicited advertisements.

5. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you post (photos, videos, text).
• By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the app.
• We may remove content that violates these terms or is reported by other users.
• You are solely responsible for the content you post.

6. Marketplace

• Digital Farmer is a platform for connecting buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction.
• We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed.
• Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for their transactions.
• We do not handle payments or deliveries between users.
• Product listings expire after 30 days and can be renewed.

7. Weather & Mandi Data

• Weather data is sourced from Open-Meteo and is provided for informational purposes only.
• Mandi prices are sourced from data.gov.in (Government of India) and may have a delay.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data.
• Farming decisions should not be based solely on app data.

8. Video Advisory

• Videos are provided for educational purposes and general guidance.
• We do not guarantee specific results from following video advice.
• Farmer-uploaded videos go through admin review before being published.
• We reserve the right to reject or remove videos that violate our guidelines.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
• You may delete your account at any time from Profile settings.
• Upon deletion, all your data (farms, posts, messages) will be permanently removed.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times. Use the app at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

Digital Farmer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of crops, financial loss, or data loss.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
